Sandpiper Beach Resort is a beautiful beachfront getaway offering a variety of cozy cottages, perfect for families, friends, and groups looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay in Wasaga Beach. Our resort features 13 cottages of varying sizes, ranging from 1,2,3,4 & 5 bedrooms. Whether you’re here for a romantic retreat, a family vacation, or a weekend with friends, Sandpiper Beach Resort provides a peaceful setting with stunning views and direct access to one of the longest freshwater beaches in the world.

    Check-In Instructions:
    Please text your approximate time of arrival to 647-549-8800 prior to arrival. You will receive instructions on how to retrieve the key.

     

  • Important Personal Information Required:

    To ensure smooth check-in, please email the following to rentals@sandpiperbeachresortwasaga.com before your arrival:

  1. A picture of your valid license.

  2. The make, color, and plate number of your vehicle.

  3. A picture of the license for anyone else in your group keeping their vehicle on the property, along with their vehicle details.

Note: Any unauthorized vehicles without a pass will be towed.

Property Policies

  • Age Restriction: At least one guest in the group must be 25 years or older.

  • Maximum Occupancy: The maximum occupancy of the cottage must not be exceeded.

    If the number of guests exceeds this, your reservation will be terminated, you will be

    evicted, and your security deposit will be forfeited.

  • Smoking Policy:

    Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottages. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking is detected. No cigarette butts should be discarded on the property or beach, or your security deposit will be forfeited.

  • Parking:
    A valid parking pass must be displayed on your car at all times. If the pass is lost, a $100 replacement fee will be charged.
    No vehicles are allowed to enter beyond the fenced area.

  • Pets Policy:
    No pets are allowed at Sandpiper Beach Resort. If a pet is found on the property, a $500 penalty will be charged.

    Housekeeping & Maintenance Policies

  • Garbage:
    All garbage must be bagged and sealed and brought to the large bin next to the parking lot.
    No food should be left behind. Please dispose of any food in a sealed bag before your departure.

  • Kitchen:
    Please clean all dishes and utensils, and put them away. Leave the kitchen in the condition you would expect to find it.

  • Mattress Protectors:
    Please do not remove or damage the mattress protector. A $50 fee will be deducted from your security deposit if it is removed, damaged, or discarded.

  • Damage Policy:
    You are responsible for any damages or missing items during your stay. Damages must be reported immediately to Sandpiper Beach Resort. If any damage occurs, the cost will be deducted from your security deposit.

Noise & Conduct Policies

  • Noise:
    To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests, we enforce a quiet time from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Loud voices or music, especially near the fire-pit, will not be tolerated and may lead to penalties.

  • Respecting the Neighbourhood:
    Please ensure you do not disturb other guests or neighbours with loud parties or noise. Respect for others is a top priority.

    Fire & Fire Pit Policy

  • Fireworks:
    Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property. Unauthorized discharge of fireworks can result in fines of up to $50,000.

  • Fire-Pit:
    You may use the fire-pit only up to 11:00 PM and only as permitted by Wasaga Beach by-laws. No loud voices or music should be heard from the fire-pit area to avoid disturbing other guests.

    Security and Other Policies

  • Loss of Key:
    A $100 fee will be charged for any lost keys. Please leave the key on the kitchen table when you depart, and ensure all doors are locked and lights/AC are turned off.

  • Late Departure:
    Late departures may be arranged for an additional fee.

  • Housekeeping Charges:
    If additional cleaning is required after your departure, an extra charge may be applied. You are responsible for ensuring the property is in good order before you leave.

  • Liability:
    Sandpiper Beach Resort is not responsible for any personal injuries, loss, or damage to property during your stay, including accidents related to the use of the BBQ, appliances, or other facilities.

Departure Instructions

Please follow these instructions when checking out of your cottage to ensure a smooth departure:

1. Clean the Cottage:
o Ensure the cottage is clean and tidy. All dishes and kitchenware should be washed and put away.

2. Remove All Garbage:
Please bag and seal all garbage and place it in the large garbage bin next to the parking lot.
3. Remove Personal Belongings:

Check every room for your personal belongings.

Don’t forget to check the fridge, freezer, and cabinets for any food.

4. Turn Off Lights & Air Conditioner:

Turn off all lights and the air conditioner before leaving.

5. Return the Key and Parking Pass: Please place the key and parking pass back into the bag hanging on the wall.

6. Lock the Door:

Ensure the door is locked before you leave the cottage.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in additional cleaning or penalty fees.
